"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Do women find them attractive?...I'm asking this because my mother just bought me a fvcking sh.it load of polo (Ralph Lauren) stripe shirts (about 10 or 15 I didn't count) to wear this semester at college...only like about 3 or 4 are one solid color. I know a DJ always needs to look his best so thats why I had to ask you guys about this.

To me i think stripe shirts are kinda gay looking but she already bought them and I didn't want to make her feel bad so I said they were ok =\. They don't look bad...there just striped thats all lol.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I don't think it's good to wear any brand name shirts in college or anywhere unless that brand is paying you to advertise for them.

As for stripe shirts, if you don't like them don't wear them.

I'll have to wear these shirts because I don't want to look like I'm poor wearing some of the same **** I wore last semester. :D

I don't want to look like a fvcking candy cane though.

So i guess I'll find out if they find them attractive anyway you put it =\, but I want to know what I'll be facing..

Who cares what your considered? Your first mistake is worrying about how people perceive you... Anyway, it's your first year of college, I assume. You will soon realize that dressing up for class is not needed. As a matter of fact, most college students who dorm wake up about 15 minutes before their class starts. They will throw on a pair of sweat pants and a hoody and walk to class.

The classiest outfits you will see will be at the parties where the girlies dress in their slutty little skirts. God I love them things. Anyway, stock up on jeans and hoodies... that's probably all you will ever need for class.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Amen to that. Not only to the " don't care what others think of your clothes " part, but also the part about the slutty skirts. I was at a club on thursday and a line of asian girls in those skirts passed me and my friends, walking hand in hand, daisy chain style. Good stuff.

Well it's not my first time (second). Not counting the courses I took in the summer...I have noticed that not many people dress up though, but some do. I've seen girls come to school In some outfits that show so much skin, that it wouldn't have made a difference if they came naked (no joke) =) (I could imagine what they wear at parties  =). I don't live in a dorm I live at home. I just drive to class everyday and so the most of the other students at C.O.B. (College of The Bahamas) so some of us need more than 15 minutes to get ready.

but I guess your right though (about worrying about what people think)...Its just that when I first started I know I was a BIG TIME AFC! I only made like 5 friends since I started going there..I won't even call them friends...there more like aquaintences. Anways after discovering this site I guess I just want to make a big impression this time around to get rid of that shy AFC rep.

Oh and gergory..there not for sale man..sorry.:D

Ahh, you see, i'm up north. The majority of the school year it's cold here, so jeans and hoodies are alright to wear. For you, I would recommend some mesh shorts (adidas, nike are fashionable, I guess... and pretty cheap) and some regular logo T-Shirts.

I drive to class as well, so I put some effort in my appearance. I usually do my hair up, brush my teeth and such, but I never really dress up. The dressiest I will be during the warmer months is cargo shorts... lol.

Don't worry so much about your clothes... as long as you know you look good, your fine. As a matter of fact, don't worry about anything. Talk to everyone and make friends for christ sake! No one will judge you if you aren't exactly dressed up for class, trust me.

Go check out the college tips thread in the tips section. Got some great advice in there to help you make friends.
