I hear ya PRL.. but part of the problem is that this behavior is permitted here. I say we should have a zero-tolerance policy for whiners. All these effeminate rants just clog space up and is degrading the quality of this forum! It sets a bad example to all the newcomers when you got the blind leading the blind and a bunch of AFC wallowing in self pity. These guys dont need love and understanding, they need to be b!tch-slapped back into reality!

We gots to set these young uns straight from the start and not make excuses for feminine behavior. You of all peple would agree with this, no?

I agree 100%. Half the f'ckers questions could be answered if they'd take the time to read the Bible. Problem is, all these noobs want to half-ass it, and not make an effort to read before jumping into the forum, and expect results. Then they come here whining when they don't get 'em. Not only that, but it causes other noobs to want to answer their questions, which causes bad advice to get spread around. After all, the noobs ARE AFC's and very attention deprived, so they want to get it any way they can. I visit this site because I get bored at work. I honestly do NOT need to visit this site anymore, as I have my game down pretty good. Every once in a while I'll pick up a good tip from some of the more experienced DJ's that still hang around. I'm almost tempted to not post here anymore, and let the forum die out from all the noobs. Less competition for me. Besides, when do you see posts from Pook, Mr. Fingers, and just about anybody who made a post that made it to the DJ Bible? Hardly... if ever.

Does anyone here remember before they were "DJ's" or "PUAs" or any of that crap?

Remember being lost and frustrated? Angry at yourself? Asking so many questions and hoping for the wrong answers to make you feel like losing the way you do is perfectly natural?

So of course when you discover this amazing site, even just skimming through it is positively overwhelming! So many new things and so many good answers. So of course, when you've been dragging your limp, tired body across the desert for years and discover an oasis...you gonna take a sip of the water? Or devour it?

That's kind of what this is like. These newbies are just excited, looking for every possible solution to their "complicated situations". The have REAL HONEST TO GOD TRUTH now. Nothing like "the truth" that their parents or their friends use to shove into the back burners of their brains; never useful, but always there.

Let them bitch. Let them whine. If they didn't. That means they're successful with women. This is the learning process for them. It's natural. They'll grow.

And it's kinda contradicting of people to bitch about people bitching.

It's...kinda like shooting someone because they've shot themselves.

How did we get to this point?

OK, I used to be an AFC. All of my friends are either AFCs or reformed AFCs.

Most men in the U.S. are AFCs (go to your grocery store sometime and see them getting dragged around by b-tchy wife). Even so-called macho guys are AFC because they're possessive of their woman, worried they'll lose her.

The $64,000 question is how did men get to this point? I see the culture is totally AFC, but why did men buy it? Where did men get to the point where they had to apologize for each and every action, where they had to succumb to the needs and wants of women and have them control our emotions and thoughts?

Why weren't we taught by our elders to be DJs from day one?

I get tired of the whining posts (but understand them) and the initial post of this thread is awesome. I'm just curious as how being a real man got taken away from us and is constantly being taken away on a daily basis by our culture?

Think about it logically: Letting the approval or disapproval of women ruling your emotions is whacko!

It's mind-boggling. Hopefully we can all get out of this. Trust me, the DJs on this site and the DJ culture here is the minority not the majority in the U.S.

There is nothing more degrading and scandalous than an effeminate man and nothing more sickly than those who approve of such a mindset and ill conduct!. Whining, moaning and bytching are of the feminine realm of existence - I agree there.

However, the young (and sometimes not so young) and inexperienced are looking for guidance and feedback - the DJ Bible gives guidance but it does NOT provide feedback and thus it is IMPERSONAL!

Those alone in their room on a computer seeking counsel want feedback from another person who is in tune or care about his personal/desperate situation. This makes him feel as if he is part of a larger community and relieves him of his solitude. This forum and advice from its’ members gives him inner strength and a psychological push to take on a bigger challenge that he would otherwise fear to face on his own conviction.

We all want to feel as if someone is listening and care about our welfare and the outcome of our personal endeavors. To create your own thread based on a personal issue gives you the opportunity to reach out to others and for others to reach out to you! Although this is not face-to-face communication, it is a form of human interaction.

It is the Sick who need a doctor and it is the Outcast who needs an embrace, it is the Weak who need the strong, and the Foolish who need the counsel of the wise!

You hit the nail on the head. The problem with this forum is that we have too many AFC sympathizers. These guys dont need a shoulder to cry on, they got they momma for that! What they need is some tough love, the kind their fathers shoulda gave em but never did.

I remember when I first came here.. I got the sh!T kicked out of me and I am grateful for that because it woke me up from my "poor me" state. I aint sayin we should be total assh0les with these guys, but we aint helping them with our sympathy either.

On a side note, I have noticed a massive decrease in crappy posts. Glad some of you are listening! There is hope for this forum yet...

It's one thing telling everyone to stop being a wuss, be a man and grow some balls etc, but they need to know how and why, and have some proof that people here can relate and know what they're talking about, rather than just asserting their egos.

I'm not talking sympathy, but understanding helps a lot in my opinion.

Also, on whining. At least you ****ing know where the whining is coming from. But on this site, you have people with 500+ posts reaffirming AFC values while talking as if they were master DJs!! The whiny posts are just a symptom of the site. Anybody can say anything in here and have it passed as gold.

Well stated DJ Dirtheart!

When a father hits his child out of love and discipline it is a totally different affect then when he abuses his child in a drunken rage!! The child is willing to accept and sustain the tongue-lashing and punishment if he understands why he received such and advisement of corrective action should follow! It is a 'growing' and learning process - from 'afc' to manhood!!

Ronny, there is a difference between 'sympathy' and 'empathy' - prior/recovering afc's and master DJ's like myself bring understanding to the unenlightened dishoveled lost effeminate chump so prevalent in today's world - we are a beacon of light in a cave of darknesss!!

One problem with being a man is that admission of weakness lowers your status. So men (the macho kind that girls like) do not admit to their problems, hide them from others, and drink them away.

The "feminine" man might get sympathy for his problems because he talks about them. He might even get help for his problems. However, this lowers his status as men take advantage of his confessed weakness. Thus, he does not get the girls that he wants.

To solve this dilemma, why not discuss problems here, on an anonymous internet board? In public, in front of your flesh and blood friends, put up an invincible front. Then come here and vent and confess your problems. There is no one who knows you in person who can use these weaknesses against you. And it's free psychotherapy!

I'm a young one and a newbie to this site, but i agree with you Don. I have to admit the first thing i posted was a question about how i can keep this girl interested who's going overseas.
Note: keeping up attraction without presense - possible or not?
But then again that was asking for general advice, not "should i ring her tomorrow or the day after?" kind of crap.
But from a newbie to a newbie reading this post, doesn't really matter wtf you say or do around her, as long as you're doing it for YOURSELF. you get absolutely no satisfaction from putting a chick above yourself - they don't deserve it, specially when all they've done is smile at you: "she smiled at me - oh god what do i do? she could be the one!!?." so don't do it. period.
