"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

this is an email from a hb I'm trying to deal with right now...

" that was BY FAR the cutest email anyone has ever sent me HANDS DOWN!!!
for real, u touched my heart DEEPLY!
i feel like i wanna marry u because of that email. lol
im such a girly girl! i love mushy stuff. and the thing that shocks me, is that u showed me that and i didnt even ask for it!! "

using push/pull with LTR/marriage in mind, early on in development, we have not talked lately I randomly sent her a really nice songs lyrics I said reminded me of her. The thing that made it real is that I was being real when I thought about it.

After the song I was not all AFC, but not ROCK either, I wrote 2 extra lines and thats all.

Control + Emotions = 'great guy!'

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

hmmm. My friend did exactly the same thing, and the girl was all over him afterwards.

I think a romantic message can up her IL, provided she's already very attracted you. Also, it seems song lyrics are definately the way to go - they are often poetic/well-worded, and don't require you to emote your "true" feelings by writting in your own words.

I guess it worked for them but it obviously has not worked for everybody so I wouldn't say it raises IL or whatever.
