YES. I believe If anyone sees a ghost it is just a trick of the mind. People only see ghosts in altered states of mind.

I may sound close minded but let me assure I am not. I have actively gone out looking for ghosts (thought I saw something), researched astrology, spoken to god and read some of the bible.

The spirituality aspect only exists in our heads, and helps some people with peace of mind.

According to the neural impulses and chemical reactions within my brain, if one thing I experience with certainty must questioned to be real, surely all things must also come into question... including you. Am I really talking to you, or is it just some chemical response happening within my brain?

Come on man, even your ****ing head is only real to a certain extent. Your whole body is an atomic structure, which is to say that it is all held together by a force of energy. Einstein's famous equation, E = mc2, teaches us that matter and energy are interchangeable, they are simply different forms of the same thing.

I'll ty to write more later, but I've gotta' get back to work right now. This is a great discussion, though. I hope we can keep it going even if this thread is locked.

This is the sort of thing I talk to my mates about when camping under the stars.
I'm not sure if it's a pointless exercise or not due to the inevitability of becoming more confused with every question asked. I learned this after failing my quantum physics subject.

All I know is that ghosts, god, spirits, fairies and the boogie monster are only 'real' to some people, BUT I'm real to everyone.

BTW I'm not taking the piss with the boogie monster remark, I saw the boogie monster under my bed as a kid and he scared the **** out of me. To me ghosts the adult version of the boogie monster.
