Some girls knocked on my door, but I was on the phone what should be my next move?

So I was sitting on my dorm room and I was talking to my dad on the phone (they didn't notice it though) and some girls knocked on my door, apparently they were trying to meet new people. One was cute, the other one not..

Anyways...

We talked for a bit, my dad didn't talk while I was talking to them, he was on speaker phone, but I didn't want to keep him waiting as we were talking about something important. So we kinda said hi, I asked for their names, they said they lived upstairs and to come over whenever. They read some "golden rules" about dating I think, you should never say "I love you" on your first date, or some sh*t like that.

Any ideas on my next move?

Unless you're legitimately trying to ask her something about schoolwork or just trying to give her a quick msg. Compare it to going up to the door of a girl's house.

Granted, I wouldn't mind if someone came up to my doorstep and tried to be friendly. But then again, I'm not a flaky woman, am I?

Its not creepy, pop up there and say your looking for x & Y and that they popped by before. be natural and explain you were busy on the phone and never really got to say hi to them.
