to OP: even better: don't hold them straight away but wait a little. So she has time to want it. So wait a little then tell her, come here. You can also don't say, do anything and let her come into your arms, then hold her.

In a word, no. For starters, less is more. And if you charge straight in with the feelings crap you risk coming across as a stage 5 wuss/clinger. Women might want that sort of behavior from a guy, but it's now what they respond well to.
