"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

So she's a nutcase, what now?

So, third date with girl tonight, nailed her. She then starts coming out with all this sh!t about us.

She says's I'm fat. OK, fair one, im overweight. She tells me I need to loose the weight so "You can be nice".

I made the mistake of mentioning I've applied for officer training with the army, dependent on getting my fitness levels up, and how I wanted a posting to the DET in northern Ireland. She starts going on abourt how she doesnt want me to go away and fight.

I take tablets for my medical condition and made the mistake of leaving my pills next to my bed. She starts how I need to get off them because "their no good"

I love Horror. I read any horror novel that comes out, Roleplay using the WoD system and own about 70 horror DVDs, apparently I need to get rid of them.

My other passion is writing, apparently my PC is "A pile of crap" and my writing is a "pipe dream".

So, what the hell? Is it worth this or is it a case of NEXT?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I'm not sure why you are asking us? Maybe you are venting. You know what to do. You don't change who you are for a woman - either put your foot down or use those feet for walking.

Gee THAT'S ALL? Yo man I'm no DJ, i'm just in training and even I know that this one is a def. NEXT.

Don't let her try to control your life, either try to tell her to pipe down, and if she doesn't shut her yap, then give her the boot. You don't need that ****.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

She just has low self-esteem and tries to bring others down to her level. Be careful that she doesn't get to you. Just don't let her comments bother you.

Laugh at her and take what she says with a grain of salt. If she gets obnoxious, tell her that she needs to get to know you better before you give a lot of weight to her suggestions about changes you need to make."
