...because I lost my job. And I gotta say, while my prospects for finding another one in my field at my current pay in my current area are dim, I've never felt better. I didn't realize how much I hated that place until I was free of it. Now I am going to have to scramble. I have some savings and some money coming that should get me through the next 3-4 months, I've paid off all of my debts except for my car and student loans, and my side business has been picking up tremendously. I also landed a part time job with a friend at his business. I'm kinda scared but it feels good too, I really hated that place. The constant worry over getting fired and the nonexistent raises and advancements got old after 6 years. Not to mention the clueless, overbearing, preeening and corrupt management.
How does this relate to women? Well for one...everyone has been talking about how happy I seem. I've had a swagger in my step knowing that I'm moving on. I was at the bank sorting out somethings on my business account and got a date with the chic who was helping me. This after I tell her I just lost my job and she can see I have 200 bucks in my business account. Why? Because I'm hungry, I'm feeling ambitious again, and I think people can sense that. I know things are going to work out. I have plans B. C.and D. lined up. None of them are terrible, just slightly uncomfortable.
