I came across the phrase "Smile and the World will smile with You" - is this really true? Personally I found it mixed with a lot of opposites thrown in there
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

It has two sides in my opinion
Some people says smile and walk up to a girl to open her---- this might work sometimes.

Some guys says-- Have a serious face/look mad...this will make her instantly submissive. try out both see which works

Personally, I smile and I've gotten good results (I've been told that I have a nice smile) but what's important is what's behind it. Smile with your teeth (if you're conscious about it because of something, address it and get it fixed) Be charming, engaging and friendly. You'll see how everything goes a long way....

It depends on your environment. I believe that your living environment and the people you surround yourself with is 50% of your mood and productivity.

If you like warm weather and live near the Great Lakes, you're behind the 8 ball by default.

If you like a rural lifestyle with small populations/no traffic and live in New York, you're behind the 8 ball by default.

If you don't drink and your friends are dysfunctional drunks you're behind 8 the ball by default.

It's kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy and your perception is your reality.

Smile meaning go about happy and confidently. Be nice, but not a pushover.

That last part I just said is the biggest problem people have when they first come to this place.
