Smartphone Addiction

not really to do with game but I'm finding a disturbing addiction to my iPhone is starting to manifest

i took a step back on the train today and looked around to see nearly every single person like a zombie on theirs

my concentration is appaling ,i don't read books anymore and my life seems to revolve around notifications going off all day:crazy:

do i need to be worried ?

and is anyone else starting to feel slightly monopolized by social media ?

I pointed out the same thing to a bunch of guys in work today. They all make plans to take their break at the same time and go to the canteen. And then they spend all their time looking at their phones....

I've noticed I'm pretty bad with mine but I'm not that bad!!

I really hate when ppl go to a party, or to have dinner with friends, and at any moment around 60% of the ppl are looking at her cell-phone...it is really annoying and stupid.

Ppl get together to not speak to each other and pay attention to whatever is going on on FB, twitter etc. Lame.

Then they become retarded social inepts that do not know how to meet new ppl or keep a conversation going.

Smartphones are turning ppl into zombies, and turning women into selfish, attention *****s. It is a disaster really...

It is a massive problem and it's destroying the ability to converse and more importantly focus.

People are becoming uncomfortable without having something to play with ...

The best to combat it is to be aware when you feel compelled to use it and why you are using it.

Make sure you unplug yourself from all devices for at least a few hours at a time and socialize and at worst get outside away from devices.
