I have been hang slow results on POF, I checked the feature where its says read and several of my messages that i sent have been deleted. I've tried snark alecky responses that somewhat work for me in real ice, but for some reason it rarely in the initial message. could this be more of a profile problem or should i be playing the get to know you card for better results on pof?

No harm in getting to know a woman on POF. They like it, try to have edge in your conversations though & I would say 8 messages from you to her is enough.
Read up Naughty Ninjas posts on this forum. His posts about POF helped me a lot.
Sometimes I just open with "Hi Sarah
whats up?" then I add a made up story i.e Am working with two Scottish blokes & one of them keeps SHOUTING at me. I cannot understand one word either of them are saying.
Another tip is mention something in her profile or pics.

hey boss, it might not be anything wrong you're doing at all, free dating sites have a ton of fake profiles to appear to have more women on the site, more guys sign up for those sites than girls, they need to appear to have more women so guys keep using the site so they make money off of it.
was looking at another site where guys got scammed by upgrading their accounts for nothing, the site would send them a lot of "likes" or "someone wants to meet you", in order to see them, get more exposure, or to see if the message was read they told them to upgrade, so they did, when they did the girls who liked them and wanted to meet them never replied to their messages, the accounts were deleted, then new ones sent more, the same thing happened, they were scammed.
if you're getting some good looking women who write you back, then you are doing good, if not then you need to change things up.
most guys try to be too ****y & funny, that gets old when chicks are getting 100's of the same type of messages, some girls like that and some don't, read the profile to see what kind of personality she has, if she is sarcastic then it wil work, if not then you have to go with a normal greeting commenting on one of her pics, not every chick is the same, so dont write the same to each one.

POF is dead right now man. Not sure why, summer it's usually poppin'. And I send out thousands of messages. I don't give a sh8t if the chicks read 'em or not. Cut and paste motherf*cker, move on to the next profile. You should send so many that the faces of the women are a blur and you can't remember one of them.
