"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Situation with a girl - what do you read in this?

Hello,

this situation is not recent but recently I've reconnected with the girl so I would like to know what the heck it meant.

We were in the same high scholl and shared a class in the last year. Also we took the same train when comming back in a given weekday, so we ended up talking to each other on a regular basis.

Crazy stuff:
* We gave hands in the middle of the street once
* In the train we "enlaced" our legs once

Also, she complimented my looks once and recommended that I didn't cut my beard (goatie) so I wouldn't look like a kid.

At the time she had a boyfriend.
In a group situation, in the train, with me, another girl and another guy, she told us that she had cheated on her boyfriend with 2 other guys - she even said she didn't do nothing with one of them because he only wanted sex.

Some time later she said they had broken up - I probably should have moved there but the big wuss in me took charge.

Some time after scholl ended she calls me, we talk for a while and she says she comes by my neighbourhood every work day. Then I asked if she wanted to meet one of those days. She said yes and then we agreed that I would call her during the work days to set something up.

I called her like 3 or 4 days after to set something and she says something like this: "I'm sorry, I cannot meet you because I'm with X". I say something in the lines of "ok, no problem" but I didn't like that. So she and ehr boyfriend were together again and I didn't call back.

We kinda lost contact there until she called me once saying she was in the same UNI as me and I was kinda cold with her (yeah that **** she did pissed me). She then sent a short textual message saying I was too cold to her and whatnot. I just called her about a month later to easy things up and we didn't talk for a lot of time.

We have talked for a couple of times recently.

What do you guys think of all this? The whole "contact" thing confused me because we were not closed friends - at least I think we were not :).

Also the telling she had cheated in that group situation is kinda weird. If a girl shares that with a guy does that put him in the friend zone?

Thanks for your thougths.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I just felt a decent connection back then. We got along really well dispite not being really close/long time friends.

Of course the "cheated on her bf" story gives bad vibes.

ehh...a cheater...:(

You Ask: "What do you guys think of all this? The whole "contact" thing confused me because we were not closed friends - at least I think we were not ."

You coming in and out with contact with her suggests nothing. It's nothing out of the ordinary except that she has another friend.

You Ask: "Also the telling she had cheated in that group situation is kinda weird. If a girl shares that with a guy does that put him in the friend zone?"

You are in the friend zone, for a long long long time. The fact that you dropped out of contact might have caused a little thought about you, but there's still no attraction, no ...anything really, except friends.

Take and learn.

Thanks for your comments so far.

This low experience with girls leads to not knowing howto read contact. I can go with friends holding hands. Now the leg enlacing thing...

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.
