Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Maybe that one teacher was right, maybe I do have something called 'autism'. If that was true, that would explain my life being such a damn social failure, never having any friends, not having any friends, not being as open as other people, that might explain this block that I always feel in my brain, maybe that explains my bad vision, maybe that explains why I JUST CAN'T trust people, if this is true, then it by all means, sucks because of this, I will never be able to lead a good social life. And I want to know, first of all, do you think from the things that I listed, that I really do have it? Secondly, if you knew you were born with this sucky ass disease, how would you cope with it?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

You don't have any disease, you need to lighten up.
That's it, really. Stop over-dramatizing things in proper teenage fashion :D

I'm certainly not normal.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

We've tried to help but enough is enough. You b*tch and moan and complain and now you think you have a disease because youre a nerd and a loser. Stop being in fvckin denial about your life. Youre THE MOST NEGATIVE PERSON ive ever fvckin come in contact with. Until you stop making excuses for yourself, dont post this useless bullsh*t because no one feels sorry for your punk ass. Go tell your parents about your newly contracted disease and see what they say. I kinda think youre a troll cause youre ALWAYS at rock bottom. Nothing positive EVER happens. Go to a shrink and let them at least get paid to put up with your dumbass.

Autistic men can get women if they apply them selves.

Well, first step is to boost your confidence. As Happy people make others happy which makes them like you. Learn how to smile often even when you are in a very bad mood. Or listen to a cheerful piece of music and smile while you listen to it.

Another was is to write a list of things like

I'm amazing
I look great
I'm the best at basketball (or whatever)

etc. and repeat the list to yourself everyday before you go to sleep.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

If autism is mental retardation than you obviously don't have it or else you wouldn't have been able to type up that post and not make a single spelling error. What you do have is a lack of self-confidence, which you can improve through exercising, socializing more (if you don't know how, then quit *****ing and learn), read some books and look into the subject of psychology for confidence improving exercises like meditation. Good luck.

Yes, you're correct but there is such a thing as having slight, autism.

Youre a coward. You cant admit that youre a loser so you assume you have autism. Go talk to your parents about it if it worries you so much. Disgraceful.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

you're not autistic, you're probably just a boring nerd. just work on improving your convo skills and humor. besides, i remember you saying you're fat so try working out. i bet you're ugly too, get a cool haircut and a sense of style. i'm no dj but i was in the same place as you and i went from being shy, nerdy and quiet to having a lot more friends and knowing a lot more girls. and if you really are autistic why would you come onto this forum and whine about it, go get some help

Stop being a$$es. Why in heck would u kick someone when they r down and how do any of you "experts" know if he has autism or not.

My advice is my brother has something very similar to autism and socializing doesnt come easy for him but he makes it up by going out 10 times more than I do so dont let whatever you have (if you do have something) hold you down

Read his other stuff. Believe me, we've tried to help him. He never seems to take the advice. And then to top it off, he makes posts like this.

Edit:

Autism-A psychiatric disorder of childhood characterized by marked deficits in communication and social interaction, preoccupation with fantasy, language impairment, and abnormal behavior, such as repetitive acts and excessive attachment to certain objects. It is usually associated with intellectual impairment.

.......No....he doesn't have this.

Do you know what he actually suffers from.....the lack of iniative.

I have mild autism, and I have plenty of friends, a social life, a smoking hot amazing girlfriend, I am open when the time calls for it, and have 20/10 vision. Your autism isn't holding you back. It's your lack of confidence.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
