Shoulder pain right after dips

Right after I do a set of dips, I feel pain in my shoulders for a couple seconds. Its never during a set, its right after. Last for 1-2 'alligators' (time is takes to say 2 alligators).

My shoulders are pretty flexible, and I never have pain during any other shoulder exercises like upright rows (when I used to do em).
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Get to know and listen to your body and when you get to know your body you will realize that their are different kinds of pain, so why suffer, do another exercise for triceps / chest.

Yeah the same thing used to happen to me. I just ignord it until it went away after a few months. I've had many rotator cuff problems with others sports (swimming mostly). Your shoulder will get stronger, I just wouldn't do 10 sets of dips until it starts feeling better

Same thing used to happen to me with my forearms while doing straight bar curls. I had no problems during the set but as soon as I set the weight down I got really sharp pains.

Dips are not a tricep isolation movement like so many people think. It is a full upper body compound movement. Your shoulders are most likely the "weak link." Maybe try lowering your head while you do them, this will put more work on your chest.

dips can do a number on your shoulders once your weight gets up there..
