Canada has a civil tort of "insult," and Germany has an actual criminal statute against insult that was directed at neo-nazis. So in a sense, it is probably already illegal to call women fat, at least in some parts of the world.

Sorry, you're right. Upon further reading, it looks like those cases were government fines, and then the government just gave the money to the people complaining. So the end result is the same as a civil suit. They call it "inciting hatred" and have used it against people who are anti-gay. Being anti-fat chicks will be next.

this. same with all the hate words. they are words ffs. why should anyone feel offended by words, especially if they are true? if not else, they should be thankful.
i know i was fat for 3 years. yes, FAT. not "overweight". i had 2 ways to go:

1. join a "fat power" movement, and try to convince (in vein) others to love me and my lard. then live in a dream world of flying whales and fat unicorns. and become offended by others saying the word "fat" because it awakened my self consciousness and it damaged my carefully built lies about reality.

2. hit the gym and eat less, and actually look better.

i chose door number 2 and not regretting it.
