"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Should I IM her or would this seem weird?

Ok I don't want to make this another should i Im her thread....but here's the deal. Yesterday this really hot girl left i didnt even know was my friend on facebook left me a comment saying happy bday. That surprised me so of coarse I sent her a message.....something along the lines of "Wanna remind me why we havent talked yet? You're gorgeous and you listen to great music. So idk about you but I'd love to get to know ya."

Well she replied with "thank you hun ;) and the best part is we're both going to the same school." So to that i sent her something like "Yea we are! So tell me, I know there's more to you than just your looks, so what makes you special?"

I sent that this morning and she hasn't responded although I'm sure she saw it b/c she changed her facebook status like 2 hrs ago. Her away on aim (sn on facebook) is "i have tickets to see Trace Adkins, Chris Cagle, and Eric Church tonight at State Fair's Country Fest for $20... if anyone wants to go with me give me a call. I reallllyyyyyyy wanna go! "

Should I wait and see if she first replies to my message or should I just IM her and say something like hey ill go with ya. She's been idle for a couple of hrs so idk if she'd see it today anymore...

What would you guys do?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

No im not at the concert....she was idle so I'm guessing she's not even home.
Let me take a wild guess....I shouldn't have complimented her?

Ok, I'll admit it, I do need help....what would you guys have said?

Say, what's a good opening line to use with facebook girls who I'll be going to college with in about a month?

Man you came off sounding really needy, obsessive, lustful, creepy... you get the picture.

Is this some kind of joke? You can't be serious

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

So you didn't contact her at all? This is the biggest reason why you're sitting home on your computer tonight and she's out having fun.

This is a problem I'm seeing more and more as I read the posts on this board. So many people get hung up on analyzing every situation to death that they fail to take action. I admit I'm guilty of this at times too. It's ok to read the posts and wonder "what does this mean?", "should I do this?", or "how do I do this?" but it all means nothing if you don't take any action.
