To ME, the way her message was worded sounded like a message on a "friends" app seeking female friends.

Just my read with such limited info and context.

if its a girls only app, then ok.... if its not the message can and should specify girls only.

I didn’t think this post was going to get any traction. I found that post at random on a FB group of local people in their 20s looking for friendships and connections in my city. Literally the group is called “San Diego 20s”.

She said she's married in the first sentence of her post! What's the logic in adding a photo with her husband? These people won't believe I'm 21 and already married so I'd better post a picture with my husband and the marriage certificate?

All I see in that post is that she's looking to connect with people the same age, potential job offers or future school colleagues. For all we know, her husband was lying in bed next to her while she posted that. So I don't get where this assumption that he's blindsided or a dumb money mule comes from.

Terribly disrespectful to her husband, who is probably clueless and swamped at work.

^^Fair point BE. I just took another look and agree with you about that. Honestly I didn't put it together initially.

And the additional context that it's a San Diego FB ''connections" group (which we didn't know originally); I live in SD and know how those work.

I don't think she's looking to cheat however it could be a "thirst trap" for male attention, especially with the two photos showing her breasts, those pics were not necessary to make female friends.

I may have been projecting a bit as well as MY motive for doing what she did would be to make female friends; but yeah the photos are out of place for seeking only female friends. And the fact it's FB connections.

I see it now and appreciate the additional context!

At first glance I thought that as well but going into her profile she was indeed that person. Pinpointing public local places she was at that I know of and more pictures of her. A few other married / LTR women posting similar posts. Chicks are bored out there.

All people have a natural tendency towards giving in to temptation. Fidelity is a very difficult thing to achieve, that's why it's so coveted. The best way to ensure a faithful relationship/marriage is for each person to remove themselves where temptation can occur. If you're not willing to do that, then why even be married? Just stay single.

I think its OK. The girl is only 21, she is looking for some friends, some people to talk to.
