Shoes, I love my shoes but, they may be not "acceptable"

They don't make them anymore, so I buy them off of ebay. They're the best shoes I've Ever owned as far as comfort and performance (running/sports). Why can't I wear these out? I just don't feel balanced in my brown shoes, and when I don't feel balanced I don't feel secure or strong or quick on my feet.

They don't have to be the Doc Marten brand, dm is worth the money but fairly expensive. Other brand names make very similar shoes. But women love these, all my GFs have like them the best.

Also, for guys worried about height, they will make you a little taller, more so than other shoes.

Ewwwww No! Those shoes are hideous! I can see you wearing them in the mountains for running, but for the purposes of gaining attraction from women, those shoes are the pits. Sure you can wear them for the sake of comfort but no one will notice you in those at all.

I don't have that many shoes (something like 15 pairs total, sport, casual and dress) but they're all top of the line. Those would be my work shoes if I was working for water control in the pool and rec department of my property.

I'm totally accepting of myself in looks and who I am, what I've done. Just want to get this nagging shoe problem taken care of. I do have Guys look down at my feet too as if I'm not cool. Buy some solid one color shoes. Seven of my eight trainers are all white with color trim. The other pair is all black with white trim. Still I get comments on my shoes from people all the time. Nice shoes create confidance in you as well. You step a little bit more proudly if you have good looking shoes as opposed to regular shoes that you don't notice. It's like driving a car you really like, you do it with pride instead of having a grinder. The same should be true of your clothes. Having things you can be proud of improves your overall disposition.
