"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

This girl put me in the friend zone by telling me "I just see you as a friend, sorry" after I told her I was feeling her. I cut ties with her (tried to) but she would talk to me on AIM and now for summer classes we live on the same floor. Every day at least twice she'll come up to my room and just chill like nothing happened. Actually the other day my roomates & I were having a conversation about relationships & she was saying how she can never keep a man and how her longest relationship was six weeks & she said she wants to be happy with someone regardless of looks...she wants someone who wont cheat on her. The whole time all of my roomates are looking at her like he's next to you. I know the only reason though that she comes over though is because she doesnt really know anyone else on the floor or on campus for that matter. I just want to tell her to stop coming over because i'm not getting any gain out of this and to make things worse she wears the most seductive clothes so you have no choice but to want her to come in. I honestly would wife her up with the quickness if given the chance but I dont feel like getting excited for something that has already dissapointed me.

What should I do? all opinions would be recommended

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

aight I see what you guys mean. I mean though she is always in here and its like having gold you can't have. She also said I was skinny...she said she's mad I weigh less than she does. I don't feel like putting anymore in this because I'm not getting anywhere with her.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Now there's some good advice. Or, alternatively, just don't answer the door.

I would pursue her aggressively and constantly - she'll get the hint that you are not

You should pursue her aggressively and constantly - she'll get the hint that you are not interested in being her friend!!!!

Tell her you don't need any more female friends, and let her know that you're too busy to pursue a friendship with her. Then, go read the DJ Bible (link at the bottom of the page).

People don't fvck their friends. If you display "friend" characteristics to women, they will become your friend. If you display sexual characteristics to women, they will have sex with you.

Corvette gave the best advice. Do that. Seriously it's the only thing that'll get you in her pants. The others are just KBJing. *ahem Last One Standing..* Once you see her starting to get interested make a move and she'll justify it to herself that she likes you and it's okay.

Last One Standing's advice won't work unless she's already falling for you. Oh yeah also don't tell the truth that's not only lame but she'll get freaked out. lol gold I can't have!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

The above advice is good yeah, but if you do it too much you'll still be that friend that's always there making jokes. Give yourself a little value.

I think that's kind of my problem right there because I believe I do too much. I don't really know how start like a good conversation or something that would let her know I'm feeling her or create attraction in her. Any tips or things I could say.
