Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Although both your criticisms are correct, I am strongly convinced that this IS the right way to go, nevertheless. In order to achieve balance in anything, one goes through a constant process of alternating between two opposites, learning to move less far along the spectrum (and straying closer to the middle) with each alternation. Someone learning to walk a tightrope will feel his weight shifting to the right and then clumsily shift it all the way to the left, in order not to fall off. But shifting it all the way to the left, he almost falls off again, so he shifts it to the right again but less far than the last time. And so forth and so forth... Through training, he learns to move less far to each side at the moment of alternating, until finally, he finds a perfect balance in the middle, where his body moves right nor left but just stays in balance.Jamo said:Overdoing it and going to the other extreme by being an azzhole is not going to help either
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Hahaha, I just totally sh!t my pants when I read that. I know exactly what you're talking about! When you've always been a nice guy, there's such new joy to be found in being an azzhole, it's like a whole new world opens up to youSandow said:I'm being a total ashole and it feels great!!!

The boss has been (or will be) fucking her. Hey, the guy can pay for skiing vacations! Can you do that? No? Well, a newer, nicer (and more loaded) branch who can has now appeared so you're out.
Sorry my friend. Time to spin a new plate.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
This quote is absolute gold, sums up my evolution over the last 4 years...Die Hard said:Only once I've learned how to dominate them and how to defend myself effortlessly against their treacherous ways, will I be nice to them........once in a while, that is

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

The honeymoon is starting to lose its dreamy quality for at least one of the parties.
If that is her, she often starts to become more demanding, more edgy and less giving and compliant. Sex can become a bargaining chip and a tool in her quest for control.
The beginning of the end with that particular kind of woman .
