I have been getting knife like shooting pains on one of my tricep and minor ones on the other tricep. I have taken some Aleives and put some muscle soreness stuff on it and it still does it. I have never had this before and both my biceps and triceps feel full and hard as a rock like almost swollin or something.

Any ideas what this is maybe over worked them or something?

When did you last train anything that used your triceps? (i.e. chest, triceps, shoulder presses a bit). You could just have really bad DOMS (Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness) because of the microtrauma in your triceps..

It's better this morning but it was Friday when I did the shoulder presses plus Clean and Press where I went up a bit in weight so that was it.

Guess my triceps got a bigger workout than I thought which is good but feeling much better this morning no more sharp pains shooting through them I'll take it light my next workout just in case and see how it feels or take a extra day of rest.

Thanks shaunuk
