"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

My step dad is 81. He was diagnosed with cancer recently and has 20-30 weeks to live. I have always thought he "got it" with women and the world in general just by the way he treats my mother and acts others. She loves him to death even though he can sometimes be a little bit of a d|ck.

But sense he was diagnosed with cancer he has really starting spilling his guts about women. Saying sh|t he has never said before like:

- All women are f\_/cking crazy

- The only thing women are good for is pu$$y

- He starting talking about all the pu$$y he got in the Army and when he was single

- Started saying that women think their pu$$y can buy them anything

- Started saying that women don't belong anywhere other than the kitchen

- Started asking about how to look at porn without getting viruses

Again, my mother just laughs it off. She is about as crude as the late Joan Rivers so she don't care. It's all funny to her..

It was almost like he was just trying to be polite all these years and now that he knows he is gonna die he just doesn't give a f\_/ck and is spilling it.

He has been a d|ck to my mother and to me at times, but I really don't want to see him go.

What is my point in this post? I really don't know. I guess deep down I don't want to see the old f\_/cker die.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

sorry about your dad, that sucks. I have to laugh at what he's saying though because when I was 13 when my grandfather was dying of lung cancer. One day at the hospital when my dad wasn't there, my grandfather said the same thing to me. I was telling him about some girl I was crushing on at school and how it sucked that she liked the ugly douche bag on the bus. He told me to never base my self worth and happiness on a woman. Then he gave me the reasons your dad gave you. He also said to never take advice from my dad about women because my dad is clueless and doesn't understand them because the only one he was ever with was my mom and she's extremely rare high quality. I thought he was a total jerk for saying this, thought he was bitter because he was dying. But I see now he had a point.

Also, I'll say my dad is developing the same attitude and doesn't seem so naive about women, even though he's still with my mom.

Thank you for your replies, jc_80.

Perhaps our two stories drive home the point of how more men used to think more alpha/red pill about women (your grampa, my step dad), but then they swayed the other way towards beta/blue pill (your dad who I assume is younger than my step dad).

Glad to hear your dad is starting to "get it" though. You should invite him to SS lol

That's probably why your grand mother stayed with him.... He's ALPHA, and she knows it....

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
