"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Agreed.

These guys were misled by people higher up in the SMV food chain who say “It will happen when you least expect it. My wife/gf came after me out of the blue.”

They never got the “Your mileage may vary” disclaimer. Or it didn’t occur to them why the other guy barely had to try to get women.
What reasons would one "not try" or "not care" and get the consistent reward?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

It’s an interesting topic. In most areas of life, you definitely have to try and also care about the results. (But you also have to have enough patience to not get hung up on results because progress can be slower than you think.)

With women and dating, it’s a different animal. If they sense you are trying too hard to “get” them, they will get turned off. So there is definitely an element of IDGAF that is attractive because it takes the pressure off the girl.

An as I alluded to above, a guy might have certain SMV traits that make him attractive, so the women do more of the work to get him (rather than vice versa).

yep "try hard" definately upsets the "force". Causes some things to react the opposite as you would like. This is also how "self improvement" can be a negative for attraction, because that hard driving always improving energy comes off as "try hard" to others. Not to say don't "self improve" but be aware of the balance. IF you need to be attractive in areas of your life you need to be able to tone it down or wear the correct hat per say.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
