I actually very recently had a chick (who was 19 I might add) do this to me and then pretty much flake out on me the rest of the times I tried to get her to hang out.
This was after I had pushed her up against a car and passionately made out with her for 2-3 minutes, so I assumed her IL was somewhat high.
The funny thing for me is that in context saying "text me when you get home" for her was completely irrational and ridiculous. "Home" for me was literally crossed the street from where her car was.

I think that "text me when youre home" is a low-key **** test. What the hell, I'm a grown man, I'm not gonna give credence to a woman worrying about my safety. My ex always asked me to do that, in 5 years I might have done it that many times.
