She is my ideal woman, but not this time. I’m not ready for commitment yet. I am grateful for her, for loving me even if I didn’t take her seriously. But there’s a problem, I told her I love her. And she believed it. But I lied. What should I do? Should I tell her I was just lying at that time? I know she’s still into me, that what I said was really true. But I’m not yet the full man to stand with her for many years, to marry her. I don’t want to see her in pain because of what I did. What should I do?
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
