Anyone here run 10ks or half marathons? I have been running cause my wife does her marathons and it has been quite fun. Would love to exchange training ideas. For me now, I'm running up inclines, 3.0% at about 8 mph for 5k stretches to prepare for my next 10k.

There will be flat speed runs and also low heart rate runs where the heart rate doesnt pass 165 etc.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Hi Cloud,
Yes during my Sixties I used to run full half Marathons 13 Miles...My Old Dog and I,every Saturday on Mountain tracks behind my place,Did I get fit?...You Betcha!...Though after Bi Lateral Hip Prosthetics and Chronic Kee Problems I came to regret it...Until my Surgeon told me the damage running DOWN hills does to your joints, I never appreciated what I was doing ...Sure do miss the endorphins though.
