Don Juan
how true is it if a woman has a ring on her finger to be engaged or married? Should I ask her about this or just move on?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I disagree. To me it's a bad sign. She sees him as some safe "big brother" type. It's a good sign that she asked you to pretend to be her fiance, but that alone isn't enough.
Because I've been there man. I didn't mean to be harsh but it's tough love brotha.cmon man, you just broke me right there...there is no way that she can see me as a "big brother" type...how can you be so sure?
Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.
