Recently i have noticed how reverse psychology works, however i have used it negativly and never tried it positivly. This is why i am writing in discusion and not pretending that this is a tip. I just want your veiws or experinces.

I told a girl sometime ago that i will let her give me her number, at which point she starts playing hard to get and tells me its the guys job to win the girl over and that all guys do it.

I told a girl more recently that if she buys me dinner i will give her my number and she throws the same thing back in my face saying "no you buy me dinner and i will give you my number"

Both of these situations where just a bit of fun really and not too serious but i have noticed that when ever I make a flirty comment that makes it out that the girl needs to win me rather then the other way around, or that the girl is fortunate enough to get my number the girl seems to react by trying to do the same back to me.

Do you think there is anyway to use this to our advantage

Those responses are tests to see if you back down under pressure. Don't let them get you on the defensive, and enjoy the banter. The exact mechanics of the date/relationship/soapy tit-wank are up for discussion. The important thing is maintaining your cool and sticking to your guns.

I was once dating this girl who seemed prudish and so Id always call her a bad girl and crap and I thought that work by kinda convincing her she is bad therefore.. ha... anyways she became more of a good girl as I called her a bad one... so I started calling this other chick who liked me a good girl who didnt like to have fun and she did the opposite in effect trying to prove to me that she wasnt and she was down for fun.. good times- try that
