I don't know why people get worked up about this. Nothing lasts forever, enjoy things for what they are at the time. If you want to be with someone for 2 days or 2 decades, do it for as long as you have a smile on your face.
One day you're going to die, so should you just kill yourself now just to get the inevitable over with? Or enjoy your life for what it is and accept the end when it happens.
I think the best relationships are when people understand that they won't necessarily be together forever but enjoy it whilst they're both still having fun. People try to make out it's a marathon not a sprint but there are no real prizes for longevity.

Apart from 5 they are all connected to 1. Take responsibility for your own happiness for the sake of people around you. That's what works. A good relationship happens when both give to each other and support each other. To make that happen both needs to assume responsibility for their own happiness and not expect their partner to fulfill them.

Fact: Every single relationship you take part in is going to fail except one your entire life.
I think relationships fail because men just get relaxed and stop challenging their women. Women have no intention to stop challenging men. So after a while you just stop participating in the shiit tests, then she starts spewing some "you don't care anymore" or "things changed" or something similar. And things decay from there. The constant barrage of blame and accusation from women never stops, so it ends being men's fault in the end.

The vast majority of LTRs will fail because you aren't really good matches, you're just physically attracted to each other. To further complicate matters, people change over time - they develop different interests and attitudes, try new things. So you can be a good match with someone at first but then seven years later you're not, because one or both of you changed.
