relationship status on facebook

To the people who you facebook, whats your thoughts about people who just do not put their relationship status? I know that woman like to put in a relationship with so and so when they like it to be known to other people. The girls i know never put their relationship status if their single or put something girlish like engaged to ..."their so and so girlfriend" Most guys are more straightforward about their relatinship status on facebook but a few do not put it.

Someone says that if your single, you shouldn't put that because it makes the person who have the hots for you think even more of you because they do not know if you're involved or not. As a guy, I personally like seeing woman putting thier relationship status as single then those who just put nothing because they don't have a b/f. Are some of them just embarrassed they don't have a b/f that they just don't put it? Any comments or thoughts? tyvm.

I don't bother with it. I put 'interested in women' but nothing beyond that. IMO, there's nothing worse than putting 'looking for a relationship' closely followed by 'whatever I can get'. Both reek of desperation.
