"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I used to casually date and bang a lovely Thai girl. She turned exclusive with another dude. No harm, no foul. I've been aloof but polite since in the last 8 or 9 months when paths crossed.

Her Euro-dude went back to his own country a 27-hour flight away from here a month or so ago and she considers herself to be in an LDR now according to friends. Nonetheless, she texted me last week and I suggested drinks after a couple of texts back and forth.

I don't want this to turn into a mother's club meeting, so what tips should I keep in mind for not being friend-zoned and quash any talk about the so-called LDR? Initiating might mean she already wants to smash as I do. Should I just keep escalating, pulling back, escalating?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

If you have already banged her she knows why you are meeting. Why do guys think women are naive...LDR's are not real relationships. She needs d!ck and is going to get it somewhere

Your know what you want from her, so act accordingly. If she responds favorably then proceed. Otherwise.. throw in the towel.

Don't act like a friend if you don't want to be friendzoned. Touch her, try to escalate, invite her to your place. You know the drill.

There is only one reason to meet you. Don’t even think about mentioning her LDR.
She’s not stupid in the least. One drink and leave with her.
