Sigh. None of those guys are attractive at all in my book. Ick.
What I have said is that looks are irrelevant if ALL options are good looking.
Now let's explain something. A woman who is an 8-10 in attractiveness is going to attract somewhere between 80-100% of all men, right? But all but the very best looking are totally invisible to her.
However, that only gets the very good looking men who she considers as viable options a ticket to the dance. Nothing more. These men are visible because the looks qualify for admission.
From there, looks do not matter. Other qualities independent of looks matter. You are a dense individual indeed not to grasp this.
The hottest women have the highest currency in the dating market pal. But even for the hottest women, the most sought after men in the world require MORE than just beauty. You gotta have brains, charm, character, social graces. Examples include Amal Clooney and Melania Trump, each of whom, incidentally turned down their now husbands initially. So these most sought after men, they had to make an effort dear.
You see the most desirable women know their value. So they get to decide. George Clooney and DJT both were persistent in pursuit of their wives. And married them (locked them down.)
Water seeks its own level my friend. Everybody knows that. Most couples are pretty closely matched looks wise. That is the efficiency in the marketplace.
Wanna know how attractive you are in an objective sense? Look at who is naturally attracted to you.
I married a very affable, charming 7.5 the first time I married. He used to always say "I outkicked my coverage" because people thought I was too pretty for him. But he had other attributes and qualities that were more important than just looks, including being very sexy. I dropped the professional male model for him, (who was more handsome but less sexy) and I had been in a 5 yr LTR before that with a man who was better looking than the model, but after 5 years I left that relationship (he had proposed and I wouldn't marry him)....he wouldn't let anyone get close enough to really know him & after a while I found it a charade and moved on.....his own mother thought he was foolish not to lock me down, but I digress...
The second time I married I married a solid 9. Who also happens to be very smart, ambitious, funny & quirky (introverted software guy on the spectrum) and we compliment one another very well, and he needs me (for my social adroitness) much more than I need him. I was not planning to marry a second time, but my husband was pretty convincing.
Looks are only one part of what makes a potential partner attractive, and over time other things besides looks are MUCH more important. Things like character, having your life together, intelligence, charm, sense of humor, etc.
We all get accustomed to appearance. And I say that knowing full well that it is imperative to keep one's appearance on point, it is terribly unattractive to let oneself go physically, and keeping up requires greater discipline and healthy habits as you age.
Water seeks its own level. Of course the pretty people choose each other. That's the landscape pretty people inhabit. Duh.
Just like 5s usually end up with 5s and so on. Not rocket science.
But pairing off choices are made considering other things besides looks. My husband has had women who were hotter than me, he's had women who were freakier.
But he's never had a woman who was better.
Think about that.
He pursued me because he was attracted first to my looks and sex appeal, then he got to know me and who I am as a person upped the attraction because I'm a "total package" girl, and he'd never experiened that before.
So go see what women ARE attracted to you. Not women you have to "sell" somehow, but women who are attracted without all that. And that will tell you where you rank.
A thoroughbred is not the same thing as a Clydesdale, is not the same thing as a Shetland pony, Looks simply stratify based on equinimity. Once you are in your strata, looks no longer make a big difference so its about everything else.
