"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

If you rely on mind over matter or will power you'll never succeed. Habits a seldom effectivly broken, only replaced.

Just something to think about.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

If you want to quit, let yourself smoke all you want ... of the most disgusting cigarettes you can find. Menthol cigars worked for me. Soon your brain will associate nicotine with unhappiness instead of pleasure.

haha thats genius. but i think i have strong will power when it comes to NOT doing something... getting out of bed is a different story. anyways the insanity of earlier wore off...but is it gonna be back tommorow? i cant believe i would just have to survive a day and a half of madness to quit.

Not everyone is addicted to the taste, there are those who have an oral compulsion.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

The only way you will sucessfully quit is if you want to.
If you quit because you think you have too, but still enjoy it you'l soon fail as i found out many times.
It wasnt till i felt ill, and knew it was killing me i didnt want to do it anymore it wasn't enjoyable.
I havent looked back yet, after 6 months but its still slightly hard.

I tried that and it didn't work for me. I smoked those really cheap cigarettes that taste like ass and do a number on your lungs. I decided enough was enough and went back to smoking my regular brand.

I read "Allen Carr's Easyway to Stop Smoking" and I've been smoke free for almost 4 months now. The only day that really sucked was the first day after quitting. After that, it just got easier and easier.

I went through a few "replacement" phases. First, it was breathmints. Then, it was potato chips. Those habits require willpower to quit. A drug addiction requires endurance.

For danno, I'm gonna give you a bit of what Allen Carr talked about... Smoking is a chain reaction. The last cigarette you smoked is making you crave another one. You have to break that goddam chain and NEVER smoke again!

Trust me, it gets better. Give it a month before it gets tolerable. Two months, and you'll be fine.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Its very diffucult, although i dont buy cigs anymore or smoke any per day i live with people who smoke infront of me all the time, and i get alot of second hand smoke and it taste good. I want to go back and i think im soon to fail again.

The first week is the hardest, it does get easier, very much like DJ'ing.

Toothpicks helped my dad quit.
This is a good example of replacement therapy. Your dad just enjoyed having something in his mouth. For some people it's candy or gum, for others its a non food stuff like a toothpick or a pen.

bump. I read the book too. Now I'm almost 4 month smoke free after 10 years of smoking. Never will I touch a cigarette again.

The beginning is the most difficult time because your brain has been associating the cigarette with events/feelings: stress, boredom, excitement, relaxation, socializing,...

I certainly advise everybody that wants to quit smoking to read Alen Carr's book.
Without going too much in to details: the basics of the books is to make you think about why you are smoking. Stop thinking: you have to stop thinking about the evident disadvantages and start think about what you think are the advantages of smoking.

You need the find the reasons of why you smoke, you have to objectively think about why you light a cigarette everytime you do it. Smoke the cigarette, and think about why you are doing it. The book gives you explanations about why you are doing it. Once you understand this, it's easy to quit.

This is an example:
I used to smoke a lot when going to clubs. When I start to think about, I noticed that I smoked when I felt boredom.
1. There's nothing interesting about a cigarette.
2. After the cigarette you're still bored, so you light another one.
3. The cigarette is an attack at your confidence. Nothing less confident than a man sitting bored on a chair in a club with a cigarette.

So you have to de-learn the patterns that you have learned during your time smoking. Cigarettes are drugs.

Succes!

It's all about breaking chains

like newbie said, I started smoking too to fill in those gaps of boredom.....a 10 minute break at a waiter job, time to kill before going to class, a long drive to work. But I feel the best way to get anything off of your mind is to think about the things you want in life that you're working for. For me it's a healthy body at age 40, to afford my own place in the next 3 months, manage school, work, and social life. These things have nothing to do with smoking so when I think about them I don't get cravings to smoke.

Chewing gum helps but don't rely on it totally, deep breathing exercises are the way to go in my opinion, this way you can get a feel for what cigs really do to you.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
