"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

So, last weekend I went to a party and met this girl who was pretty attractive. We start talking, and eventually we make out. I suggest a change of location, so we take the bus back to campus and head to my dorm room. She seems really interested, so we mess around a little bit. So, when she is headed out, quickly remember I dont even have her phone number. So we exchange numbers (she asked for mine too), and I think that I typed it in incorrectly.

Do you all think it would be alright if I message her over facebook and ask her if the number I have is correct? It doesnt help that the voicemail message just repeats the number and says leave a message (something that isnt typical of 20yr old girls).

I usually hate doing stuff over the internet, but I dont see her often and I dont think she gave me a wrong number.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Well if you are pretty sure you got the wrong number, then you really don't have much of a choice (unless you want to wait for her to call you, which is unlikely in most situations)

Did you leave a message? It could just be that she does'nt have a voicemail message set up. If so, give it a week after the voicemail was left, and if she doesn't call you back, then you might want to go the facebook way, if its your only choice.

Message her on facebook and tell her you lost the number. Don't say "Is this number correct?", say something like, "I had a great time the other weekend, I want to give you a call, but I lost your number."
