OP: Even though most people do not know, sexuality is not dichotomous; in fact it is on a continuum from completely straight to extremely homosexual, which are both, paradoxically, extremely rare. Most people fall nearer to the right or nearer to the left. If they are bisexual, they are somewhere along the middle.
In other words, almost all people have some kind of homosexuality. The ability to tell if another man is good looking or checking a style of clothing is in fact a proportion of homosexuality. The viewer may not be interested in haveing sex with the guy, but he looks at him anyway. As for the root of homosexuality, it is an unknown blend of nature and nurture (biology and sociology). That is to say, do not worry about your sexuality. If you like women, pursue them and if you like men then pursue them. I would not bring it up to other men though, as they may see it differently (unless it is someone who you really trust). I do believe, though, that your work schedule and sleep habits have a huge impact on your libido. You basically work and sleep (no offense). I do not know your life circumstances, so I am not going to judge you.
