Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

So theres the tip of acting disinterested to make her more interested in you and come and try to win you... But what if girls do it to you? What the hell do you do then? Can't go crawling over I know, and doing the same thing seems like it won't prove anything you'll both just be acting disinterested until nothing happens.

And I'm not just talking in person, like if she doesn't call for ages.. Call her after a week or something or what?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

It doesn't work the same way... girls don't have to pull this bullsh1t because men aren't controlled by an emotionally-fueled dementia which makes it necessary (like women).

So, in turn, this girl is not interested in you.... at all. That's ok though, there are plenty who will be. Go find them and pretend not to be interested :)

Well she is actually.. She initially asked for my number, she initially set up a date, she made excuses to be around me, all the while I was playing it cool, giving her good eye contact and being funny. Its just sometimes she shifts off and from what I've read around here seems like she is pulling that trick to the letter...

One time I just turned and started talking to this other chick I kinda know and she came back and stood beside me fairly quick, but often there isn't many other people around or others I'd relate to.. And theres still the phone, so something else would be better.

Confront her? Hey I've noticed your little signs, you're interested, well guess what? So am I!

Ok I'll be serious now.. Tennis as an action date? It was in the list of suggestions. Now golf, bowling whatever you ca easily get kino in, but tennis you are on opposite sides of a net the whole time? How does that work?

Maybe belt the ball at her then go over to give her a hug and 'kiss it better' wherever you managed to hit her? Jeez that could heat up if you were a good shot ay.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
