"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

My question is simple:

How on earth do you break up with a girl without the drama, the revenges, the insults, the stalking, everything involved in a break-up?

I could definitely use some advice here!

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Be man?
Sit her down, tell her you guys aren't right for eachother (I use a very philisophical/spiritual approach) Let her know you're there if she needs to talk (but don't be there too much), wish her the best, never show negative emotion or temper no matter what she says, and never talk about her again (especially anything bad).

Stay rational and collected. Accept that she'll be emotional but don't get mad and stay positive. Take the blame.

Teflon gave great adivice about the actual break up.

I would just add that I have found that the drama only happens in breakups from relationships which was full of the same kind of drama.

The girls who I have always been in control, cool and collected with were easy to keep cool when we broke up.

If you are honest and set very clear boundries when you are together you don't leave her much ground to cause trouble when you break up.

So I guess you need to attend the relationship from the beginning.
