you did, but 90 x 15 is still a PR. I'd take weight over reps anyday especially on a higher rep set.
She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
Oh I've learned, I'm just a lazy c***. My diet is one that doesn't require a lot of effort on my part.Warboss Alex said:And you have 10lbs to lose and you're worrying about calories? Have you learned nothing?
What sort of diet are you gonna do?
There in lies the problem. I can't afford not to eat carbs right now.Warboss Alex said:That's way too many carbs if you're not going to be doing much cardio, even for someone of your metabolism.
You can cut just fine on four meals a day if they are properly structured. I'd fat load the first couple of meals then use leaner proteins later in the day (with all the veggies you can eat of course).
No carbs except post workout or maybe not even then. You can probably factor in some junk once a week at your level of leanness but I wouldn't do the bacon double every post workout.
Might have to take this discussion to PM if the post limit comes into play
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
yeah, but you can afford to 'get a buzz' and eat double bacon XL's 3x a weekQuagmire911 said:There in lies the problem. I can't afford not to eat carbs right now.
Well I can get a buzz twice a week for under £5, which doesn't make much difference, (you aren't getting my cider).Warboss Alex said:yeah, but you can afford to 'get a buzz' and eat double bacon XL's 3x a week![]()
I am no longer syth, but jedi...MrS said:8 quid a week can get you 12 frozen chops (aldi for the win), thats 4-6 meals mate.
im sure the burgers and booze taste good but sometimes you need to make sacrifices. get to where you want to get, and then reward yourself, it'll make them all the sweeter!

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
