"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I'm sorry, but there is some completely terrible advice in this thread.

The last one was the last straw.
Low intensity cardio doesn't lead to muscle loss, but high intensity does?
NEITHER makes you lose muscle if you eat properly and don't do it on an empty stomach.
If you're really fat, you do hiit, but if you're in good shape, you do low intensity? With what logic?

What's the problem with the getting started post?
5-6 meals isn't difficult. A protein shake with a piece of fruit could constitute a meal in the worst case scenario.
Look up a program by Joe Defranco - Westside for Skinny Bastards. It's a good starter program for building muscle. The other guy's isn't bad either but not enough compound lifts for my liking.
Also look up Rippetoe's 5x5 program.

MrS - Running doesn't lead to muscle loss? I'm pretty sure it slows down your training quite a bit for building muscle.

An excellent guide provided by Warboss

HandyAndy...I had a 2000 calorie diet with ten minutes of cardio 3-4 times a week at 10 minutes. I lost about fifty pounds in five months, I did medium to low intensity cardio. BUT what i focused on were my big three. Incline bench, Squat, Deadlift. I did a three day split and followed routines given to me by Warboss and Effort. With a similar diet to what was said earlier in this post

Deadlifts are awesome - but they aren't going to be easy. they are going to be hell, and you will love it haha. Good luck to you

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Thats good for you Itallion Stallion, did you just run on the treadmill or what? Im following Efforts post now because I think its best for me, but what kind of running wont lead to muscle loss, or would that happen with any type of cardio?

I'll try not to give you advice, instead I'll just tell you what worked for me personally.

When I was really leaning out, I was doing this:

1. The Where to Start routine, more or less.

2. Cardio 4-5x per week. This constituted a 30 minute interval run/walk. I'd start off by walking for two minutes, then run for one minute, walk for two, run for one, etc etc etc until i hit 30 minutes.

3. Occasionally I'd mix this up with some sprints: Pick a point 40 feet away, sprint there and back facing the same direction(harder), I did this 8 times in roughly 1 minute. I'd repeat this 3 times, by the end I was lying on the ground about to throw up almost every time.

4. My diet consisted of chicken, tuna, vegetables, 6 eggs per day, all the vitamins and other goodies as well each day, every few days I'd have a steak or fish or something. My diet was a little low in calories/fats which stopped me from putting on some serious muscle, though I was able to get my numbers up quite high regardless. I also drank green tea religiously. Oatmeal was also a mainstay in my diet then. Essentially it was a high protein, mod.high carb, sadly low fats.

That's from my personal experience only, no "general" information.

Well any form of cardio in itself is catabolic to some level whether minor or not. The idea is to eat properly to minimise it, that's all. But yes low intensity does less likely lead to catabolism in general, if you do it on an empty stomach first thing then you tap into fat stores and burn mainly fat. The key is to not overdo it so that muscle becomes the fuel used. Fuelled cardio should be high intensity so that although you burn the fuel rather than fat in that session, at least the high intensity means your metabolism is boosted for hours afterwards turning your body into a fat burning furnace. So BBers on cuts usually either do AM Fasted Low Intensity or PM Fuelled High Intensity. Usually it's the former I think because it can be monitored and controlled a little better. Or even both infact.

Is Muscle Milk worth it? Or should I save the money and go with the generic brands?
No Muscle Milk a huge ripoff compared to On Whey. It's loaded with sugar too.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

HandyAndy is correct, there's nothing wrong with 12g of fat per shake. In fact, that's on the low side.

The only thing you really need to remember and be conscious of while consuming dietary fats is balance. Balance saturated(animal), monounsaturated(olive oil, etc) and polyunsaturated(fish oil, flax oil, etc).

Aside from that, there is no problem with fat. If you claim that 'fat is bad for you', support it with evidence or else I might delete your post(politely) as disinformation.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
