"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

So anyway im a junior and prom is coming up and i don't have an idea for a date. I have a few female friends but i really don't find them attractive at all and I don't want to spend all that money to go to prom with them. Also im in higher placement classes at school and there are absolutely no attractive girls or normal girls in my classes. So I'm not exactly sure what to do. Should I ask a random girl cuz that would be really akward or should i just try meeting random girls outside of school or something? Idk any advice

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I'm in a somewhat similar situation. I probably won't go at all because no matter how hard I try, I can't justify spending that money on a girl I don't want.

well for my jr prom, my date was just there so i could say i had a date, and for the picture.

once i got to prom, took pictures, danced with her a bit, and moved on to a bunch of other girls and did some group circle dancing/chanting with the boys

So ur basically saying to get a date and ditch her? idk how well that would go over and i wouldn't think there would be many attractive girls goin there single to hang out with.

I was in a similar situation last year...and so I asked out a sophomore girl I knew only a little bit, thinking I'd just get some social proof...and had a great time/went out w/ her for 9 mos...

The moral of the story is go for the underclassmen (or women, in this case).
1. They can't go unless an upperclassman asks them---shrinks chances of rejection.
2. They'll say yes---girls LIVE for stuff like prom (with the dresses and the drama and all that stuff).
3. It automatically puts you in the dominant position---you're older, you're in charge, you're in control---means that you can be a man.
