So apparently my bipolar ex is online most nights hours into the next day chatting up people to be friends of hers. I only know this because I am also on there and am finding it harder to get out there and meet people. PoF is good practice after recently becoming single.

On her profile she explicitedly states that she wants only a platonic relationship with no one night stands or FWB. Is she trying to fish for guys while protecting her butt incase she isn't interested in them? That is what I have read in many PoF discussions... It gives a girl an out if they aren't interested.

Thoughts?
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Its their "defense" against being a s1ut.

They think that by putting the opposite of what they truly want, that guys wont be able to figure it out. But the better question is....why do you even care to ask about her? Shes obviously low quality and you shouldnt give a sh1t about her.

If Id have seen some "bpd ex" on a dating website....Id laugh to myself and think "the poor fool who deals with that one..." and go about my life. I wouldnt come to a forum to ask about her...

"just friends" is a very efficient way for women on 'dating' sites, harvest a swarthe of orbiters, when she finds one she actually finds attractive or is the best overall package, she will produce the goods. in the meantime, she will still be approaching (messaging) the eye candy and opening her legs for them at will
