In my opinion, you're coming off as anxious. That was what you wanted to avoid doing, and that's why people commonly suggest waiting "three days" because that arbitrary waiting period trains you to be patient. I would not have called her on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Monday through Thursday are play days because during that time most people only have work or school.
I also suggest eliminating the urge to e-mail or instant message her. When you speak with her, you need to communicate with her, and communication involves more than expressing your opinion in words. It involves body language, touch, and the excitement of the experience. Many top business leaders are also dynamic speakers. They're dynamic because of their mannerisms they use throughout the year. For example, some don't even have a chair in their office. They stand. Some don't even use computers, like Donald Trump. Indeed, many don't have their own phone line. Any messages they need to receive are relayed to them by secretaries.
Avoid all forms of impersonal communication. That includes e-mail, IM, MySpace, and that other crap that strips the emotional experience from the exchange. You need to speak to people in person. Whenever you have a chance to speak to someone in person, do so. The occasional phone call is all right, but contacting someone by any additional means (except in person) just comes across as needy and anxious. I've learned my lesson about getting attached. Women hate when men get attached. They hate "clingy" guys. You have more important things to do with your time than spend money on women. Do those things. When you get around to it, talk to her.
