Interesting trend so far: seem more people have _negative_ experience with online dating sites: which is very understandable: the sites are interested in people who use them and pay them for the use. And who will use them?

Seems onling dating sites are interested in the situation when customers do not find any decent matches.

My comments:
Match - Good selection of women, but the user features are horrible. They let other people know you've looked at them, you can't easily contact people with your profile hidden, and they make it difficult to cancel your account. And no IM.
Yahoo - Not as great a selection as match, but can easily contact people while hidden, plus IM
American Singles - Horrible selection. Never bothered trying that out.
