hey guys my oneitis just broke up with her bf.

Right now, we are friends. I've read the friendzone posts, but if you guys have anything to add, or personal experiences to share, that'd be great. So far here is my plan:

- up the kino
- up the flirting
- 2 steps forward, 1 step back
- keep doing good EC, smile more

I've been doing pretty much all that but not so much cuz she had a bf, but now it is time to rally my forces.

Anything to add? I'm thinking I can pull this off.

No. I've never really asked her out. She never has said, "LJBF." She's never said, "I don't like you that way." and she's never said stuff like "I see you as a brother."

Anyways, I just read Fingz's post on Escaping the Friend Zone and I almost violated the GOLDEN RULE!

Never communicate to her directly your feelings.

This is a rare time where my lack of balls came in handy. My fear of rejection resulted in me bottling up my feeelings FOREVER! Anyways, she doesn't know I like her.

I'm jsut going to screw with her mind like, SLOOWWLLY up the kino cuz I haven't been doing that ... close to none really. One day I'll act focused on her and hang out and walk with her and stuff. Then the next day I'll just be a loof in regards to her. Not ignoring her, but I'm going to be sociable mostly with other people.

Fingz said something good like, "god...you gotta stop wearing that perfume before it makes me do something to ruin our friendship!"

and if she keeps wearing it, then i win.

hey if noone has any more, tips say I'm gonna be ok or something so at least I know I'm doing the right thing.

I think it'll turn out well and she is rapidly becoming more comfortable with me right now. :)

well... dont put all you're energy into attracting this one chick.. also flirt with other chicks... it worked for me

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Keep focused on your goal but don't make it too obvious what you're trying to do. Make her KNOW that's what you're looking for but at the same time, you can't come on too strong because it might freak her out (since you're her friend right now). It's a very delicate balance.

Exactly, if she see it, she'll know that she's not the only apple of your eye. It'll bring out the competitive spirit in her and she'll want to get you before those other girls do. Plus, she'll know that you have a life.
