Wow this blows. This is just going to be a bit of rant.

For a while it still looked promising. She was returning my calls and seemingly showing interest, and tonight I was going to finally get date #2 with her. She decides to call and flake at the last minute with one of the lamest excuses I've ever heard.

More thunderstorms rolled through Maryland this morning, exactly like what happened two weeks ago. She apparently had some episode getting to work this morning and was afraid of making the 40 minute drive to see me again, and the drive back. Knowing what happened last time, and that she was going to flake anyway, this time I directly volunteered that she spend the night - and she said it was "tempting" but the answer was still NO.

I guess this is another lesson to learn the hard way. Its particularly painful since I know I had the opportunity sitting right in front of me and I hesitated, then probably for this reason I developed a bit of an infatuation for her, and was REALLY looking forward to seeing her again and finishing what I started.

She kept saying that we should try again, but I know its over. This is the second time she cancels on a date - and calling again would be in violation of the two strikes rule. No more contacting her. What a bummer, seriously. I'll get over it eventually.

This comes during the same week that my other plate decided to tell me I wasnt what she was looking for - so at the moment I am back to zero prospects....time to get some more numbers!

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Wow. Sometimes I really have trouble understanding how some guys can be sooo goddamn oblivious.
