There are 2 points of not buying her stuff...

1. If you don't buy her dinners, expensive trips, gifts, you could even throw in flowers, whatever... If she REALLY likes you it won't faze her that you're not paying her way or buying her stuff. It's a sort of a male **** test.
If she REALLY is into you she will seek to be with you without you spending money on her.

2. It flushes out the users, the dinner users, attention seekers.

We don't just withhold gifts and paying for stuff for her for no reason. There is solid reasoning behind it.
