"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Ok this is the story. I met this girl back in HS, she was in my class. She was never attractive to me, so we were just friends.
So, after HS I didnt see this girl anymore cause shes an UG.

Recently, my friends and i went to a buffet restaurant I saw this girl but didnt recognize her at the beginning. She looks better and attractive now (dunno how she did...). Oh well, during the time i was eating and having a good time with my friends, i see this girl again she was standing there at the entrance. I come to her and ask if i know her. She immediately says that i was familiar to her. Then, we both said you are from HS...
We talked a bit and i asked for her number. She gave me her number and email.

I called her after 2 weeks. She said she was busy moving. So, didnt say much.
I called her again after 1 week. She was busy again doing grocery shopping with her mom. Didnt said much again.
I called again 1 week later. Nobody picked up the phone. so, left a msg. She never call back...So, i think i was becoing an BAFC hahahahaahha.
After a few days later i emailed her saying i wanted to see her. never got any replied back.....im definetly a AFC now.

Told my friend about this girl and what was going on. He told me forget about her. So, thats what i did. Her number and email is gone now.

so, my question is what i did wrong?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

who says you messed up?

how about things in her life are going on, especially with moving and its a bad time to hook up.

who knows, once you stop wondering about her and get busy with other things, whos to say she wont call you up to meet up somewhere.

or maybe high school didnt go over so well on her and she wants nothing to do with anyone that could have treated her poorly for being an ugly duckling. now shes overcome the ugly duckling syndrome, but her mind is still there.
