So I have this message that I send to every girl and it has gotten a lot of good responses and got numbers.

But, I fail from the text game.

What is the purpose of texting after they have given me their number and how can I date close?

I'll tell you what I usually do. I don't number close, I date close. I ask them out on the date right on the website and if they agree, I ask for their number so we can keep in contact better than the website.

I find date closing to be more effective than number closing. Asking for a number only works better during cold approaches when you might not see the girl again or you might not see her as often so you need it to keep in contact or as a medium to ask her out.

OLD (Online Dating), you're already messaging back and forth. No need to push it to texting back and forth before asking her out.
