You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Yeah thanks for havin my back skip. Player's Syndrome huh? I suppose I can't rule this out. God only know's what will happen to me when I try to change my lifestyle. I may find out that my life is better the way I am. And we're all assuming that this will actually as well. I'll be honest, I've not been very good with LTR's because I've been so affixiated on becoming and being a prince of the night. There's a very good chance that I'll fall flat on my face in this whole thing or she'll think that I'm no where near ready enough to be with her during and after her pregancy. We'll just have to wait and see won't we? I'm not fear less but seeing as I'm no stranger to facing my fears I'm not really shaken by anything that has been said in this thread.skip2mylou781 said:PRmoon - i never doubted you, I knew you are a true real player
and like i said, you have PLAYER SYNDROME!!!!!
All women are different. Each has a different set of good qualities and baggage. This girl is different.
I'm not going to deny that it's appealing after dating lots of women, encountering many bimbos, and other women who are flakey. But all you're doing here is settling for a woman who seems "different" because she doesn't act like a typical American woman. I'll tell you right now, there's lots of women like this one out there. I can't tell you how many SMs I had the opportunity to date and start a LTR with. I turned them all down. Why? Because raising someone else's kid SUCKS.I mean come on guys does doing those things vs spending some time with a girl and yes possibly change/save my life by being a father sound like too out of this world? I'll admit I might be overcompensating somewhat becuase she's already pregnant but a wife, children, dogs, a house, you've gotta see how that MIGHT sound appealing to some one who's been in the game and pretty much done several lifetimes of partying condensed into a few solid years.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Think about this for a bit - it sounds like what you really is want to change your life. So why then use a [pregnant] woman to do so?PRMoon said:I'm only 25 but it's starting to catch up to me. I live a very risky life. I have and still do deal drugs to my clients, I'm an alcoholic, I have unsafe sex very often with girls I don't know etc etc How does any of that make me cool or even seem like a good way to live?
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
I agree with this 100 percent.Unfortunately that still wasn't enough to make me any less an AFC at the time, nor does your position make you any less an AFC. Some of the most legendary PUAs are utter and hopeless AFCs when it comes to their ability to cope with a LTR. It's not the 'getting', it's the 'having.'
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
