"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Same girl from my post the other day.

The one who doesnt like PDA...well today she made it a point to kiss me in the parking lot after we met up for lunch.

Not really the point of this post tho...

She mentioned today that she is still talking to her ex, who btw treated her like shlt, but merely on a freindship level. They were together for maybe one and one half yrs (I think), and she was the one to break it off about a month ago. He keeps calling her and she said he 'needs' her as a friend right now b/c hes going thru alot.

Im not jealous or threatened at all, but it is rather annoying to me.

What does this mean that she felt the need to mention it to me and "be honest"?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

It does get to you, otherwise you wouldn't have made a post about it.

I don't think she is necessarly playing games... it's pretty common for girls/guys to stay friends after long relationships, because there was some level of freindship there in the first place.

If you do your job in keeping her attracted to you, you have nothing to worry about

>>> I was thinking the exact same thing when I read the original post. If you're "not jealous or threatened" but it is "annoying", then ask yourself , really, what's so annoying about it ?? It must annoy you because it gets to you, or makes you feel threatened. I agree w/backbreaker 100% . Just ignore that fact, that she's friends w/her ex. It shouldn't bother you at all. If anything it just shows she's mature enough to have a LTR and not be a drama queen forever about the breakup and aftermath. So that's good news for when she's YOUR ex ! :D j/k......

If you aren't worried about it, then why post about it?

It's simple, she's talking to her ex. No need to be alarmed.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
